42 gastronomy PETIT PARADIS Le P'tit Paradis Hotel (the Little Paradise Hotel) reopened on December 1st after extensive renovations and with a new manager at the helm, Philip Zhan. The hotel is in the small village of Bluche, known for hosting one of the world's most highly-rated hospitality schools, Les Roches school. This institution has always maintained a great relationship with the hotel and its owner, Francois Crettol. For more than 50 years the hostel has held a reputation for being a place of bon viveur and Philip Zhan promises that this will continue. Le P'tit Paradis is organised into two parts; hotel and restaurant. The inn has 13 rooms and a five-room apartment. Downstairs is a restaurant which can seat 100, a bistro and a beautiful terrace for sunny days. TRADITIONS COME BACK TO LIFE AT BLUCHE To herald the reopening, a new menu was created with Philip Zhan looking to traditional Valais fayre for his inspiration. His aim was to offer local dishes that are typical of the region PETIT PARADIS
