29 \ ALTITUDE A PLACE TO LIVE The café area reinforces this philosophy. Guests can enjoy salads, soups, and smoothies prepared daily from whole ingredients, without unnecessary processing. As a result, no two smoothies are ever the same. The teambehind this one-of-a-kind store works only with what’s in season, without trying to fix a permanent menu. And here, breakfast is served at any hour : “If someone wants to order a homemade chia pudding with fresh fruit at four in the afternoon, that’s perfectly fine !” laughs Julia. The idea is simple— listen to your body rather than your watch. BeeO attracts a diverse clientele : doctors, local families, passing tourists, and freelancers looking for a peaceful place to work. Many stop by for coffee, juice, or a healthy meal and leave with a few groceries—organic fruits and vegetables, oils, teas, or natural skincare products. Others settle in with their laptops, enjoying the Wi-Fi and the calm, almost meditative ambiance. Overall, the team cultivates a spirit of openness. “We want everyone to feel welcome. Organic living shouldn’t be a luxury. Our prices remain accessible because our goal is to share a philosophy of life, not make well-being elitist,” insists Angela. PLANS FOR THE FUTURE The project is already growing. BeeO is preparing to launch an online shop so customers can order remotely, and to host workshops focused on well-being. “Céline and Christophe are training in healthy, conscious cooking to offer balanced and nourishing dishes every day. Julia, along with her mother Elena (BeeO’s co-founder), is studying holistic health. And I’m training in therapeutic hypnosis,” shares Angela. Throughout this journey, the bee remains their guiding symbol. “Small but essential—it embodies our philosophy of contributing, in our own way, to a healthier, more conscious world,” adds Julia. Leaving BeeO, one carries the memory of a living space scented with wood and fresh fruit, where conversations are gentle and gestures sincere. A place that reminds us that organic is not just a label—it’s truly a way of life, in harmony with nature and with oneself. And perhaps, too, a bubble of kindness in the heart of Crans-Montana, where people come as much to nourish their bodies as to rejuvenate their spirits.
