28 local life Behind this name—evoking the bee, small yet tireless and essential— lies a unique concept blending an organic grocery store, café, and a philosophy of well-being. This haven is brought to life by Angela Masciulli Bernasconi, its director, and Julia Sievers, chairwoman of the board. They are supported by a committed advisory team that shares their vision. “BeeO isn’t just a shop—it’s a way of living,” says Angela, a Crans native and former manager of Le Relais and le Mayen de Colombire. Recruited to lead BeeO, she found in this project the coherence she had been seeking between nature, nutrition, and inner balance. Opened in October 2024, BeeO immediately charms visitors with its soothing atmosphere : light wood, green plants, and touches of colour inspired by feng shui, blending harmoniously with its environment. “We even obtained a design patent for the space,” notes Julia, the concept’s architect. Every detail— from the choice of colours and materials to the carefully curated background music—aims to create natural harmony : green for wood, red for fire, yellow for earth, white for metal, and black for water. Together, these elements promote energetic balance and well-being. A COHERENT VISION BeeO is much more than a beautiful setting. This concept store embodies a deep commitment to mindful, nature-respecting nutrition. Here, every product is chosen with rare rigor to sustainability. “We check everything—origin, processing, transportation, even packaging. Plastic is avoided as much as possible. It’s replaced with glass, paper, or beeswax, which is naturally antibacterial,” explains Julia. “For us, a good product isn’t just organic—it must also tell a story, reflect our philosophy. That’s why we work with producers who share our values, like La Cave à Levain, which makes exceptional sourdough bread, or Benjamin, who creates gluten- and sugar-free treats,” adds Angela.
