It shimmers with light, magic, and a comforting sense of togetherness, transforming this time of year into something truly special. Once again, the resort is preparing to unveil a myriad of activities, all designed to make the enchantment last as long as possible. Winter guests will be able to create new memories as they revel in everything the mountains have to offer. CHRISTMAS VILLAGE From December 19 to 28, Place Victoria in Montana will host the very first edition of the Christmas Village. With the support of Crans-Montana Arts et Métiers, this warm and welcoming event aims to offer both locals and visiting guests an atmosphere brimming with holiday spirit. Beneath a large canopy, 22 uniquely decorated chalets will be arranged in a cosy setting, with safety and comfort carefully ensured for all visitors. Exhibitors’ stands will be open daily from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and partner restaurants will continue serving until 10:00 p.m. Each evening from 7:00 p.m., “La Cabane” area will come alive with after-work gatherings featuring performances by artists from near and far. Santa Claus himself will be there from December 19 to 25, between 4 :30 and 5 :30 p.m., posing for photos with children and adults alike, and of course spreading joy with his gift-giving. A special partnership with Sierre Noël and the SMC (the Sierre–Montana–Crans public transport company) adds an extra touch of magic : when you purchase a CHF 12 collector’s mug—available in both Sierre and Crans-Montana—you will receive a free round-trip ticket for the funicular or bus between the two destinations, valid for the entire day. The mug comes filled with a heartwarming drink that’s perfect for keeping spirits bright. This delightful Christmas market is a wonderful opportunity to complete your end-of-year shopping in an extraordinary alpine setting. The charming chalets are filled with inspired gift ideas and delicious local specialties. And when night falls, the sparkle of festive lights, the snow, and the joyful atmosphere blend together to create a moment of pure enchantment. Before your visit, remember to check the schedule for children’s activities, any reservations that may be required, and pedestrian access. Parking in the area may be limited, so walking or using public transport is recommended whenever possible.
