39 \ ALTITUDE THE EXHIBITION INTERSTELLAIRE exhibition, from 18 June to 12 November 2023. Curated by Fondation Opale, artgenève. In parallel with the main exhibition, the Special Focus space at the Lens art centre is presenting OBJECT OF INTEREST 700 E, an artistic project by Joel Kuennen as part of the EPFL CDH Artist in Residence 2022 programme, Enter the Hyper-Scientific, at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Consolidated as an architectural sculpture, OBJECT OF INTEREST 700 E combines natural, technological and conceptual elements, and questions the role played by exoplanets in the cultural imagination. It proposes a dialogue between cultures and peoples through art. Its exhibitions are mainly based on the Bérengère Primat Collection, which comprises over 1,500 works and is one of the largest holdings of contemporary Aboriginal art in private hands.
