85 ALTITUDE english version Tell us about the restaurant. What is the history of the establishment? What do you like about the place and its location? The place has a long history. It has been well known since the 1950s through various swimming competitions. At that time it was a buffet. The chalet is original. It hasn't changed for about 70 years. You can see, with swimming, that its history is intimately linked to life on the water. It is a relationship that we wanted to keep. It was only in the 1980s that the chalet became the host of a real restaurant. It was managed for several years by Jean-Paul Sprenger before passing into my hands in 2016. The owner is the bourgeoisie of Montana (a public role, like a mayor). The renovation of the place was done in collaboration with the bourgeoisie and the local authority.
