14 LA FRILEUSE If you have walked around Crans-Montana you will probably have already passed La Frileuse lingerie store with its eye-catching window displays. Marielle Clivaz first took over the store from her parents, and has already expanded the business significantly; opening her third store, Hanro by La Frileuse, in June, close on the heels of her second boutique, Calida, which opened just last year. With a smile on her lips, Marielle recounts how as a child when she came home from school, she would love to rummage through the drawers at the store to see what treasures they held. It ignited a passion for the industry in her and she wanted to follow in her parents' footsteps. After taking a master's degree in business studies she realised her dream and took over the lingerie store. The original shop is now the largest independent lingerie store in Switzerland. local life
